About Me

Olivia Cao is a part-time poet and full-time over-thinker from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is an avid enthusiast of Broadway musicals (will only willingly do math homework if she gets to rap the Hamilton soundtrack simultaneously) and Taylor Swift’s discography, would never be seen in public without a book in hand, and is a firm believer in the power of language as a source of inspiration and a means of global and cultural connection. When not undergoing another ill-fated attempt to make a dent in her reading list, Olivia enjoys traveling, collecting knick-knacks, and crafting moodboards from whatever scraps she can find around the house. She is currently studying English, Chinese, and creative writing as a sophomore at Dartmouth College.

“Poetry, beauty, romance, love — these are what we stay alive for."

~ Professor John Keating, Dead Poets Society (1989)
